What a week!

MONDAY THE 21ST
Mike, Dan, Mike's buddy, James
and Dan's "friend" Crystal were at J's Bistro on the Square and while normally I would rather pull out my toenails than hang out on the Square -- I wanted to go out. I was doing pretty well with not drinking until a beer was set in front of me. Damnit. I only had one beer there before the bar closed. Here in SM, everything closes at midnight. Mike walks me to my car. I put the keys in the ignition, put the car in reverse and we don't go anywhere. I never actually started the car. So I go to turn the key - nothing. I start to panic. Mike's telling me what's wrong .... I'm freaking. So yeah, btw, if your car's in reverse ... it won't start. Put it in park, Dumbass. Ok, so we get home and hang out before Dan brings over James, Aaron and Amy. So ... party at my place then?? I'm so glad no one lives around me. We drink and drink and drink. And drink. And shoot darts. They all leave. I'm trashed. Should make for a fun Tuesday.

(This is the night Dan bought a Stabbing Westward CD that I already "owned". Heh)

TUESDAY THE 22ND
Boy, I am still drunk. I wake up to go to work and yup
, I'm still drunk. I get ready for work and wake Mike up. Poor guy, I felt bad for waking him up yet I'm the one that has to get to Austin and work all day in this state. *barf* I drop Mike off so he could go back to bed and by the time I got to work I felt like complete crap. By 3PM the hangover was wearing off and I was STARVING!! On my way home my gas tank is pretty empty and I remember Mike wanted to check the gas mileage on the FauxJetta. I put in 10.745 gallons and reset the trip. Ok. Go. ($30.08 FRICK!)

WEDNESDAY THE 23RD
Jess calls me at work and tells me we are famous. I thought she meant Gene and Secure Integrations but no. She meant ME and HER!! How exciting is that?? We are on Vickie Howell's Knitting website.

http://www.vickiehowell.com/album/index.html

That's me with the JF (Just F*cking) and that's Jess with the GI (Google It). It was really nice of her to knit these for us. If it was me she would have got something more like a Kabbalah string bracelet. Haha.

THURSDAY THE 24TH Today was pretty uneventful except that I realize
d I'm the worse mom ever. 13 days ago was the boys birthday. Thank Goodness they are kitties and don't know how to use a Day Timer and/or like cake.

FRIDAY THE 25th
Mike and Dan go see "Invincible" and then we played Beer Pong. Lots of it. I
kept losing.

SATURDAY THE 26TH
We slept in, got pizza for lunch and went and saw "Talladega Nights". This is my 2nd time, but Mike hadn't seen it yet. It was still just as funny -- I can't wait to have this on DVD!

:|:

"Dear 8 pound, 6 ounce baby Jesus....."

:|:

"I picture Jesus with huge eagle wings, singing for Lynard Skynard, and I'm in the front row ... just hammered."

:|:

" the sticker is dangerous and inconvenient ... but I DO love Fig Newton's"

:|:

"I spread my butt checks"

:|:

"This is for you ... I got it at Target ... It was on sale."

:|:

Played some darts on Saturday night with Dan's friend Crystal and her friend Jenny - They played Beer Pong and I just ... drank. Sometimes it's not worth gettin' your balls wet, ya know?

Mike has a Big Red shirt .... haha. I made him put it on and he doesn't remember why.

Oh-my-God, not even Hell

could be hotter than you right now

Not even Hell could be hotter than you right now

Oh, not even Hell could be hotter than you right now

Oh, not even Hell could be hotter than you right now

Oh, not even Hell...

He's about the cutest thing this side of Mexico. -smile-

SUNDAY THE 27TH
We slept in again. I came home and just relaxed until our stupid store meeting at Bath and Body Works. That place is just going to be the death of me. Mike came over for a quick dinner, after the meeting, and headed home. Maybe. I watched Drumline and went to sleep.

MONDAY THE 28TH
I woke up this morning with Brutus pretty much laying on my head and Petey between my feet. I can NOT tell you how badly I want this new bed. I am ordering it on Wednesday when I get back into town. I am telling you ... if I can make it two more weeks on this futon, it'll be a miracle. Remember back on the 22nd how I reset my trip?? Yeah, well, I forgot and got gas again today before I was really on empty. But that's good, almost a week without having to fill up and I drive to Austin every day. Right?

Tomorrow is Dan's birthday!! Mike said he had some first night of training tonight so I thought I'd call Dan and see if he wanted to grab some dinner and drinks somewhere but he was in Austin with Mike's cousin. You'll have to settle for this for now ....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAN!!
(you can have your present when I get back to SM)

I'm going to be out of town until Wednesday afternoon. Hopefully on Wednesday I get my new dryer. Cross your fingers, do a dance ... anything that'll help me get a new freaking dryer. Don't take your dry clothes for granted!

Thanks Dan!

What happens when people who don't know
how to use iTunes try to play DJ on your computer?

They get confused and BUY ALBUMS THAT
YOU ALREADY HAVE!!!!!!!!!!

This is basically what Apple had to say...

IMPORTANT: All sales are final. Each time you click a Buy button (using either 1-Click or the shopping cart), your music purchases are charged to the credit card or PayPal account associated with your Apple or AOL account. You cannot cancel a purchase or receive a refund for a purchase. If you're using an allowance, gift certificate, or iTunes Music Card, each time you click Buy, your purchase is deducted from your account balance.

If you quit iTunes or restart your computer before a purchase has finished downloading, the download should resume at no additional cost the next time you open iTunes. If it doesn't resume, choose Advanced > "Check for Purchased Music."

Just kidding Dan! *hug*

I still like it when you come over. :)

Petey got a haircut

I'm not going to post pictures since the poor cat takes so much crap from everyone anyway but he gets his hair all in clumps so I thought I'd get him a brush. Yeah, that was a good idea but didn't really work. So I just took some scissors to him. I got most of the clumps out and then tried to brush him. He would growl and then purr and then growl and then purr. He bit me once and then purred again. I think he likes it but doesn't want to. Haha. I have thrown away 4 or 5 handfuls of PT hair. It's unreal. Brutus and Petey got some new toys today and both are hyped up on cat nip right now. There's a little gray kitty out on my patio that Brutus is talking to through the sliding glass door.

I went to WalMart today for some food. Why, why did I go to the store, on campus, the Sunday before Texas State starts back? It was a little crowded. I dealt with plenty of OSU Tri Delt "girls" to know that I don't want to deal with sorority "girls" from Texas State. Ok, so you got that cool shirt at Greek Week '06 .... how many of you have worn that shirt all weekend??

I got some new Clorox ... Jess, you'll love it. It's called Ultimate Care Premium Bleach and it's "Soft Cotton" Scent. I guess when you're 30, bleach is this thrilling. Haha.

There's this side of the road, purse stand on the way home from WalMart. I've always thought about stopping but never have. I need a new purse but is a fake Kate Spade the way to go? Probably not. But where else can you stop on the side of the road, buy a Kate Spade AND get your windshield repaired? Only in San Marcos.

I made coconut chicken for dinner - was pretty good and I have leftovers.

I've been watching movies all weekend again. I've watched Date Movie even with Gene and Brians comments. I watched Failure to Launch with Matthew McConaugheyyyyyy and Gone in 60 Seconds. I can't believe I've never seen that before. They were all good. I thought Date Movie was funny and don't see how Gene didn't think it was funny. That is SO his humor! He must have not been in the mood or something.

I'm still going to tie him down sometime and make him watch Swingers -- he'd like it if he'd just give it a chance. Baby. ;) Haha.

I'm going to go attack Petey again with his brush and then take a shower and knit myself to sleep. Night.

Did you tighten the lug nuts??

I started off my morning by breaking my hair dryer. It was on and I broke the switch, somehow. To shut it off I had to just unplug it. Eh, I want a new one anyway.

Laci picked me up a little before 9 this morning. We made a breakfast stop and then through Starbucks for the drive into San Antonio.

Just outside of San Marcos Laci pointed out a car that looked like it was just in an accident. We both look to the right side of the freeway and as I'm still looking, our car swerved ....

**PANIC**

I look ahead to see a wheel rolling right for us. Laci missed it but apparently that accident had JUST happened and the wheel had gone south some, although at an angle, made a turn and was heading back north. That was loads of fun. But more not really.

I just kept thinking about when that happened to Gene and the GTI. Luckily he wasn't going 70 on a freeway. That's some scary stuff.

Gene's got the cameras set up in the new office now so I logged in and it was like being at work with him. They don't seem so far away when I can see em daily.

I drove home from SA today, while Laci yapped on her phone, and when we got to my house there was a note taped to the door. From the police dept. There was an "attempted rape w/ a weapon" that happened across the street on Monday morning at 6am. That's comforting to a girl that lives alone and usually comes home after dark. They said he was not apprehended so exercise caution.

I wish I didn't have to sleep alone. : (

I've seen a lot of movies lately.

Miami Vice -- Better than I was expecting. Good music, I enjoyed the story .. and of course the water and boats help.

Talladage Nights -- Hilarious. The quotes are great, the white trash factor was not too much, even Walker and Texas Ranger's trash mouth was funny! Stay at the end ... there's bloopers!

Step Up -- Fantastic! This is not like Dirty Dancing and / or Save the Last Dance. The music is awesome and I have since then acquired the soundtrack. Love it! Any ex-dancer is going to enjoy this movie just as much as me ... and HELLO ....

*bites lip*

Cheaper by the Dozen 2 -- I got this on PPV the other night. Entertaining, I guess. :) I was just bored.

It's almost time for the new Laguna Beach! : ) I'll give it a few minutes but if these kids aren't like Kristin, LC, Stephen and Jason I'm throwing in a DVD and watching Scrubs! Haha.

Complete Boredom

I woke up just after 8 and have pretty much been bored since. I have done some laundry, cleaned some, did the dishes and talked to Brian for the better part of 4 hours.

I made pizza for lunch, that was Brian's suggestion also. Now I'm not sure, that I've had lunch, what activity to pick for my afternoon of continued boredom.

Here are my choices ...

  • Shoe Tying Contest... Me VS Myself - Get ready for two hours of pure heart pumping action! First tie your right shoe as many times as you can in one hour, and KEEP COUNT. Then try to beat your right shoe's record by tying your left shoe as many times as you can in the next hour. Shoe tying, it's the pinnacle of suspense.
  • As I sit inside my house with absolute boredom, I might as well watch the most boring TV channel ever created. I've already looked outside and know that it's sunny and hot, it can't hurt to have my visions confirmed. WARNING: Stop once you've realized the Weather Channel has a schedule and you know what it is.
  • Deodorant/Antiperspirant Art - The sweet smell of no sweat! This doesn't work well if you you don't own stick deodorant. First pop the deodorant out of its case. Then carve away. Make animals, furniture, and put an end to body odor all at the same time.
  • Nap

It's 1pm now and I have to work in 5 hours. I've figured out that playing darts is pretty pathetic by yourself and Brutus jumps at EVERY one trying to catch it .... or get stabbed. Not sure what his motives are but I thought he was smarter than Dart Diving. He doesn't let the threat of a punctured lung stop him from his extreme kitty sports.

I really need to go grocery shopping, that could kill a couple hours on a Saturday in San Marcos.

Have a good Saturday!!

Where does the time go?

Oh my, my, my!! Where have you been my favorite Blog site!?! :) With everyone and their brother's mother on Facebook, I think the Blo...
