I guess the lines are just a suggestion for the blind and / or drunk drivers of Texas. I enjoy crawling in from the passenger side, Dipshit. Thanks.

How To Calculate Your Carbon Footprint

By using the following formula:
A.) Multiply your monthly electricity bill by 105

B.) Multiply your monthly gas bill by 105

C.) Multiply your monthly oil bill by 113

(if you don't use either B or C, enter 0.)

D.) Multiply total yearly mileage by .79

E.) Multiply the number of flights--4 hours or less--by 1,100

F.) Multiply the number of flights--4 hours or more--by 4,400

G.) Do you recycle newspaper? If no, add 184. If yes, add 0.

H.) Do you recycle aluminum and tin? If no, add 166. If yes, add 0.

A+B+C+D+E+F+G+H = your carbon footprint. A number below 6,000 (reflected in pounds per year) is excellent. Over 22,000? Not so great. Good is anywhere from 6,000 to 15,999, while 16,000 to 22,000 is average.

If your number is higher than you would like, there's good news--there are hundreds of ways you can shrink your carbon footprint, and many of them aren't as sacrificial as you might expect.

My carbon footprint isn't so hot ...

Suzy's Carbon Footprint is 24,414.

Another calculator, my carbon footprint was better using this calculator (a little more detail is needed, more acurate): http://www.carbonfootprint.com/calculator.aspx

I'm finally a member and I have new tires!!!

Cristina and I were coming back from one of our many errands during the work day [last week] and this lady was in our lobby. She was carrying all these Sam's Club catalogs and little gift bags. Seriously, we are walking out of the elevator and she goes "Are you guys Sam's Club Members?"

Neither one of us is a member. Are a member? Whatever .... we can't shop at Sam's. But we've talked about it before so we told her if we could sign up together, on one membership, we would sign up.

She said "are you sisters".

We said "suuuuure ... different mothers"

I guess our dad liked himself some white meat and some fajita meat. Go daddy! ROFL

Anyway, the girl says that she'll do it and then was like "are you guys managers ... you can save five dollars if you qualify for a business membership". (And we get to go in earlier?!?!?! SCORE!)

"Sure we're managers"

Cristina bosses me around all day, every day anyway. :)

Hey, how about I get to the point before I forget what I'm doing.

So yesterday I go get my oil changed at WalMart. They made me sign something saying that I needed new tires. Eh, whatever. They gave me a copy of what I signed. Today in traffic I decided to read what I signed. HOLY SHIT ... my tread is less than 2/32. So I'm thinking about my safety at this point. I can't even pass the state inspection with that. Which btw is a month overdue.

So I go to Sam's, get my card and pick out some new rubber. So instead of spending $133 on OdoBan, Clorox wipes, Kleenex, Gum, 1,700 rolls of TP, Bacon and coffee I spent $133 on something I can't really enjoy. But I suppose I'll enjoy them on the freeway. Damnit. Kind of wishing I didn't pay ALL the bills yesterday.

Oh and Alex stayed in the car the whole time. He was so good. High above the ground in the car. Like the Dumbo ride without the elephant. He's so damn cute.

So, yay, I have a Sam's card but have no money and yay, I have new tires and can't afford the state inspection anyway. Super.

On The Road Of Life, There Are Passengers And There Are Drivers ... Then there's me going the wrong way.

I like the pink side better

Alex flips pillows, dog and cat beds over, digs at blankets and kept flipping his new blue bed to the pink side, all weekend. I hear dogs can't see color but he feels prettier on the pink side. Sexy boy.

Yellow Box Flip Flops

I got a new pair today!! Thanks mom!

I got them at work and ripped off my sneakers to try them on. They fit perfectly! I got home and held the bottoms up to another pair and they look a lot smaller. I think I've worn them so much that they are squished out. :) They form to your feet after a while and fit so well and feel even better. Anytime you wanna buy more 6's, mom, feel free. I love 'em, thanks!!

My mom and Uncle Bill

Here's a picture of my mom and her brother, Bill. :)

Karl's Visit

So Karl came and Karl has left. But we did A LOT in that time. Haha. So much so that we were both asleep by 10:30 last night. I told him I don't think I've been to bed that early since I was bored to tears in the hospital and I just slept for the hell of it.

I was out getting lunch yesterday and stopping at the store for a couple things and I get a text from Karl. "I think I'm in San Marcos rush hour". ROFL I knew exactly where he was. There's only one spot in SM that gets like that and I've never figured out why. We actually met up in traffic and he followed me home. He sat and entertained Alex while I ate (Karl was full -- I'm not that rude) and then we decided to go to Happy Hour at Sonic. Right? You can't NOT go. That would be wrong.

With Cherry Limeaid and Ocean Water in hand we head down to Centerpoint Station. (Mom, that's where I got my Yellow Box Flip Flops) It's an antique store, bakery and restaurant. My dad would love it. But as I found out when I was there with my mom they have dead, stuffed animals in there. WTF? Why do people do that. Anyway - I explained to Karl that there's one room I won't go in. It's where most of the really old stuff is. Dusty crap is what I like to call it. But whatever. We started to walk in there and I didn't see the stuffed birds that were there before so I kept walking. Then saw a rabbit pelt. Again, WTF ... why? Oh well, I was finished. I bolted out of there and then Karl did too but he was red faced laughing his ass off. Check it out, it really is a cute place but I just question their "goods sold". ( http://www.centerpointstation.com/ )

After leaving Centerpoint we went across the highway to Tanger Oulet Mall. I just wanted socks from Adidas. We saw the Puma store too and walked over there.

Then proceeded to walk around the whole joint. Haha. Of course my favorite "stuff" is across at the street at Prime Outlets. Bath and Body Works, Gap and much, much more. We got in the car and went over to Prime. Went into BBW, walked around and then walked way across the parking lot to the Under Armour place. I was thinking of something for Genes birthday. I went in and asked if they had gift cards and I was told "No, we don't have unitards". LOL Aww, but that's what Gene really wants. I think we walked maybe half of that place and came back home.

We decided to head to Austin to go to Chuy's for dinner. We had a great dinner and I had ONE margarita which turned me into a complete retard. I felt like crap. So after dinner we went to Austin Java for some coffee and dessert and read The Onion. Oh and people watched. Austin is the best place for that. Worst part of that was the waitress with serious plumbers crack. Best part was this cute little girl with the prettiest curly hair playing. :) Although I think Karl's best part was blonde in tight jeans.

By the time we got back to San Marcos it was about 8:40. We got to the house and got Alex and went to my BBW. Karl needed hand soap for his new place! :) They were 6/$18. I wasn't thinking or I would have bought some for myself. Duh. I blame the margarita.

We then took Alex down to Petsmart. He was so good all day. He got a couple new little toys. One being a cute Pooh set. It was like a ring set. There was a green bone and then the rings were Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore and Tigger. So cute.
We finally got home after 9 and started 3:10 to Yuma. Started off pretty weird and confusing but we thought maybe that's because we were SO tired. Karl was falling asleep, I was falling asleep and we finally said "screw it".

I slept sooo good and got up this morning and felt great. I haven't slept that long in forever. Karl got Alex all hyper and we went to Ihop. Karl wanted to order the Rooty Tooty Fresh 'N Fruity, I could tell. But he didn't know how to say it without loosing a little something. Haha. We ate and then Alex and I had to say Goodbye. Karls next stop is Ft. Worth and he had to get on his way.

I had fun and it was a little sad to see Emily pull away, up the freeway with the bike on top. Thanks for visiting Karl and thank you SO much for the OSU beads!

How cute is this dog? Karl made Alex a little rolled up bed and after Ihop Alex got in it and fell asleep.

I spend millions of dollars a year buying beds for this little destroyer and he sleeps calmly in Karl's bed.

Whatever.

Dear Computer,

I know you're having a good time in Gene's basement but I miss you. I'm sure you don't like being close to the dead fishies either. Please hurry home. I need my iTunes back. Watching YouTube videos on the worlds slowest computer is rough.

Ferras : "Hollywood's Not America"

Leona Lewis : "Bleeding Love"

And of course ....

Miley! "See you Again"

Anytime Cristina and I can jam out to this in the car, we do. We would make so much more money touring with Miley than at the bank. :)
