I was out getting lunch yesterday and stopping at the store for a couple things and I get a text from Karl. "I think I'm in San Marcos rush hour". ROFL I knew exactly where he was. There's only one spot in SM that gets like that and I've never figured out why. We actually met up in traffic and he followed me home. He sat and entertained Alex while I ate (Karl was full -- I'm not that rude) and then we decided to go to Happy Hour at Sonic. Right? You can't NOT go. That would be wrong.
With Cherry Limeaid and Ocean Water in hand we head down to Centerpoint Station. (Mom, that's where I got my Yellow Box Flip Flops) It's an antique store, bakery and restaurant. My dad would love it. But as I found out when I was there with my mom they have dead, stuffed animals in there. WTF? Why do people do that. Anyway - I explained to Karl that there's one room I won't go in. It's where most of the really old stuff is. Dusty crap is what I like to call it. But whatever. We started to walk in there and I didn't see the stuffed birds that were there before so I kept walking. Then saw a rabbit pelt. Again, WTF ... why? Oh well, I was finished. I bolted out of there and then Karl did too but he was red faced laughing his ass off. Check it out, it really is a cute place but I just question their "goods sold". ( http://www.centerpointstation.com/ )
After leaving Centerpoint we went across the highway to Tanger Oulet Mall. I just wanted socks from Adidas. We saw the Puma store too and walked over there.

Then proceeded to walk around the whole joint. Haha. Of course my favorite "stuff" is across at the street at Prime Outlets. Bath and Body Works, Gap and much, much more. We got in the car and went over to Prime. Went into BBW, walked around and then walked way across the parking lot to the Under Armour place. I was thinking of something for Genes birthday. I went in and asked if they had gift cards and I was told "No, we don't have unitards". LOL Aww, but that's what Gene really wants. I think we walked maybe half of that place and came back home.
We decided to head to Austin to go to Chuy's for dinner. We had a great dinner and I had ONE margarita which turned me into a complete retard. I felt like crap. So after dinner we went to Austin Java for some coffee and dessert and read The Onion. Oh and people watched. Austin is the best place for that. Worst part of that was the waitress with serious plumbers crack. Best part was this cute little girl with the prettiest curly hair playing. :)
Although I think Karl's best part was blonde in tight jeans.
Although I think Karl's best part was blonde in tight jeans. By the time we got back to San Marcos it was about 8:40. We got to the house and got Alex and went to my BBW. Karl needed hand soap for his new place! :) They were 6/$18. I wasn't thinking or I would have bought some for myself. Duh. I blame the margarita.
We then took Alex down to Petsmart. He was so good all day. He got a couple new little toys. One being a cute Pooh set. It was like a ring set. There was a green bone and then the rings were Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore and Tigger. So cute.
We finally got home after 9 and started 3:10 to Yuma. Started off pretty weird and confusing but we thought maybe that's because we were SO tired. Karl was falling asleep, I was falling asleep and we finally said "screw it".
I slept sooo good and got up this morning and felt great. I haven't slept that long in forever. Karl got Alex all hyper and we went to Ihop. Karl wanted to order the Rooty Tooty Fresh 'N Fruity, I could tell. But he didn't know how to say it without loosing a little something. Haha. We ate and then Alex and I had to say Goodbye. Karls next stop is Ft. Worth and he had to get on his way.
I had fun and it was a little sad to see Emily pull away, up the freeway with the bike on top. Thanks for visiting Karl and thank you SO much for the OSU beads!
How cute is this dog? Karl made Alex a little rolled up bed and after Ihop Alex got in it and fell asleep.
I spend millions of dollars a year buying beds for this little destroyer and he sleeps calmly in Karl's bed.
Whatever.

Who is this Karl character? He seems really nice and I love how he likes to shop! Is he from Texas, just wondered cause you said he was headed to Ft. Worth. Aren't I quite the nib nose .. sorry Karl, the crazy girl in Ohio is all up in your bizness! :)) Sounded like a fun day and I'm convinced I'll never get to taste Oceanwater. I told Adam to get me some and he completely denied my request!
Karl is a VW guy that I met when he moved to Columbus from Ft. Worth. He quit his job in Columbus to go help in New Orleans for several months. He now has a job in Tulsa and moved this past weekend. That's the story of Karl. :)
