I'm loving this cooler weather. I can't promise the upbeat attitude will stay around after the first snow. I think Alex and I may just stay under blankets until May. It was very comfy putting on my super soft Buckeye hoodie today. Ahhh.
I've had allergies my whole life, I get allergy shots all the time, I've had my sinuses dug out, my nose broken, I've had my hand in a paper shredder, I've been in the hospital with a horrible intestinal infection, I have 2 holes purposefully in my tongue and 4 tattoos. I'm not a whiny baby and I can take pain. I got a flu shot today and OUCH. I think the nurse was angry about something or it was her first day playing with a human arm. Or maybe it was because I didn't get it with Cristina. We liked getting our CVS Medical Care together. LOL I miss you, Girl!
I went to Champps, at Lennox, tonight for dinner. I'm a little upset they don't have the rolls anymore. Those were so good with ranch dressing. They have replaced those carbolicious balls with slightly burned garlic bread. Damn you, Champps.
Moving backwards, I went to the AutoX on Sunday at Cooper Stadium. Great weather but I showed up too late to enjoy too much of it. And I took my camera ... but no SD card. *sigh
Saturday I drove to Springfield to pick up the two younger Kelly boys. It was right after Colin's football game. We got back to Columbus, Colin showered, hung out for a little bit and then we went off to dinner. John and Colin always pick Texas Roadhouse. Colin LOVES the cinnamon butter! Everything was great. We had planned to get up Sunday, make a fun breakfast, go to Starbucks (high maintenance little kids .... who turned them that way?? ;)) and go take pictures with all the Brutus's on Parade. Especially "Blarney Brutus". Then we were going to AutoX and then go home on Sunday afternoon.
So everyone gets ready for bed, they pick Spiderman to watch and we all pick our pillows, blankets and couches, watch the movie and go to sleep. That was midnight or later.
At 3:30 Colin woke me up very sick. He was gagging and gasping for air. It was horrible. I felt so bad for the poor kid - I think it scared him so much that it made his breathing worse. By 4:30 he had calmed down enough to put him in the car and get him home. That's all he wanted to do. You know when you're sick you just want to be home. I woke John up and we all headed to Springfield.
Wow, a post with no pictures is kind of boring.
You know what's not boring?? Seeing the progress of the Sonic being built by my house. The one by my place in San Marcos was closer but this is pretty damn close. I'm so excited I can hardly stand it. I will be able to get Ocean Water whenever I want.
I think that should cover it for now. :) I have to go catch up on Private Practice. I love Fall TV.
