I've taken a lot of videos this week, with the new roof being put in place. The weather has been great, as you can see. Until today. Typical November Ohio. I took a lot more pictures and videos on day one of the roof. The second day, I had a headache and was ready for them to stop banging and making the house shake. But the new roof is BEAUTIFUL!!!
And here it is being delivered ... How exciting. It was supposed to be here AFTER the dumpster but what can you do?
Here is the dumpster being ... dumped. Left a nice mark in the driveway too.
Here comes all the old wood ...
This was the view from my bedroom ...
Laying the new wood. Where there is no plywood, you can see into the attic. (which is a complete disaster full of dust, old wood that fell through and nails. Grrr)

This is what happens when I'm more than 3 feet from Alex. It's okay if he walks away from me but I'm not to walk away from him. There was too much crap for me to let him run around. Old wood and nails were bad for me and I had on shoes!
This was this morning outside my bedroom. I went out before 10 and mowed over the yarn twice with the mulching mower. As you can see by the neighbors, to the right -- we had a few leaves. It started to rain halfway through it but at least you can see grass now and not just the carpet of leaves.
Leaves continue to fall at this hour. :) It's better than SNOW, right?!?

love the john mayer song playing during the leaves falling... reminds me of ole' curious george movie that I got sucked into watching a dozen times but now it's in the archives on the DVR. Whole fam is sick... UGH.. what a wait to spend a weekend. Went to Damon's to just get out and contaminated the place :-)
Haha, it should remind you of Curious George .. it's Jack Johnson. He did the soundtrack. :) I loved that movie. I went with the kids I babysat in Autin and their nanny. My mom's been sick here and with all the dried leaves my allergies are in full blown hell. LOL at Damon's. Sometimes you just need out of the house! I'm sure the kids enjoyed it. I loved their 3 year pictures. Great outfits!
