Tazo® Tea and a hint of sweetness shaken with lemonade.™

Back in Austin, Cristina got me hooked on this little gem of a drink. It's TAZO Passion tea shaken with Lemonade. You can get a little sweetener added too. I drank them, litterally, from Texas to Ohio. I'm scared to look at my bank account and add it up. Refreshing, huh?

Now that I'm back in Clintonville, there is a Starbucks two blocks from my front door. Bad, bad placement. I go in there at least once a day, if not more. One of the guys got me to start using the melon sweetener. So good!! One day I tried it with the Black Tea TAZO with the melon and love that one too!

I have some free time on my hands. So I have time to play Starbucks in the kitchen.

Everything minus the Melon Simple Syrup

If anyone has any brilliant ideas on how to make a melon flavored simple syrup, that's all I'm lacking. For now I used one Equal packet. I'll have to check with Brian, he's pretty handy in the kitchen.

I guess this is my first post since leaving San Marcos ... wow. I'll have to post some pictures later. I seem to be busy or on the go a lot and I'm not even working. :) And today's the 4th of July and I need to get out and fire up the grill in the rain to meet up with friends and neighbors in a little bit. Whetstone is going to be so wet tonight.

Kevin, Leah, Terra, Skyler and Luke may come down too!! Now I just need Dan, Michelle, Brendan, Brian, John and Colin here and I'll be super-uber happy. ((maybe next weekend for the block party!! right??))
