Sunday Morning Drivel

Thursday morning we got up super early for something Mike had to do that ended up being postponed so what better to do than get some breakfast. Mmm, we had some great tacos and went shopping. The whole time neither one of us could believe what we had gotten done before noon.

Friday morning I got to work somewhat on time despite my 0400 jaunt to a friends house to basically watch him sleep. *hug*

I don't know why I'm late to everything. One bad, bad habit I picked up from Jess. Well, I have always been late but since Jess, I just don't freak out about it anymore and I don't really try to hurry either. I'll show up when I show up, nice and calm.

Only thing I can think of in the past two years that I showed up on time for .... AutoX. Haha. The things you do for the things you love.

Friday night I worked at BBW with our token boy. The sale is coming up so we were trying to bust out shipment and I got hurt. Twisted my back wrong, throwing Anti-Bac, and I've been on Aleve and heating pad therapy all weekend. Aleve is great stuff!

I was at work for the majority of the morning yesterday processing more shipment for the sale. Came home and laid out on the balcony for about 3 hours while trying to complete this book ... still. Jody is in Africa right now and we're both reading Dan Brown's Deception Point and good God is it a slow read. Jody and I both flew though Angels and Demons and Digital Fortress and I think we're just wanting to say we finished this one now.

The Aleve was still working so after laying out I found myself BACK at work doing more prep work since one of my managers feels the need to do NOTHING. About 2115, I decided it was time to leave and go on with MY Saturday night.

Should you mix Alcohol with Aleve? LOL

I have big plans to lay on the balcony again today, grab some lunch and do nothing until I have to go to work at 1800.

Laci's picking me up at 1000 tomorrow morning to head to San Antonio for the Annual Sales Meeting. Ugh, I haven't had to deal with one of those since working at Cranel but it's going to be somewhat fun, I hope. Jason won't be there to pass notes back and forth with though. I have a hotel right on the Riverwalk. I have to remember my camera!!

If you're interested in some great Sally Munro video footage of the Riverwalk we have a full VHS tape of her narrations as we are floating down it from sometime in the mid-80's. LOL

One of my cousins was at a party last night and ran into Kristin Cavalleri. He was pretty drunk and actually said "you look familiar". LOL She then had to explain from where and he was like "oh, yeah, that's right". Damnit, why didn't I go with that cousin instead!?!?!?! Haha.

OMG I just realized that I didn't call in for my 12 - 4 call in shift at 1100. I called once at 1100 and again at about 10 after and no one answered but I never called back. Oh well, I know they aren't using me. Heh.

It's nice to know everything and tough to be right all the time. Betcha $20 ....
