Volksfest 18

Volksfest 18. August 9, 2008.

Today was much cooler than Volksfest 15, the last one I went to. In 2005 it was 100 Degrees and I was in a Jetta with no air and only 2 of the windows rolled down. Today I went in the Neon but I didn't need air. :) Here are a few of the pictures I got inbetween shopping and sticker hunting with Marty. Was a perfect day for Volkswagens!

This started as a joke, kind of, with Cristina. I was having a string of not-so-lucky events. So we teased. Then went into looking up ideas. Then chatting it up with the tattoo guy at River City. And then I drove home, to Ohio, with no tattoo.

Today after Volksfest, I thought about it on 70 for a minute and headed to Evolved.

I sent this picture from my phone to Cristina right away. Thinking she'd know what I did. LOL She said "what the hell??" and thought I got hurt. Haha ... see?? People just know to expect the bad things to happen to me. :)

Visiting Grandma

This was back in July, a couple weeks after I got home from Texas ... Mom, Alex and I headed over to Fairborn. Since it's too hard to get Grandma anywhere, Mom usually stops and buys lunch from Don Pablos and beer from BP to have lunch with her. So this time was no different.

"Free Time" .... huh?

When I lived alone - I had all the free time in the world.

Now that I live in this mad house, I sometimes forget to go to the bathroom. It's non-stop. Between all the cell phones going off at all hours of the day and night and the foot traffic and the dog fights (and by that I mean, open mouth, no biting, wrestling for hours on end) and the never ending laundry and "Hey, Suz's", I'm kind of wishing I could go back to San Marcos for a vacation.

With work and this looney bin I call a home, I'm exhausted.

But that's not stopping me from going to Volksfest 18 this weekend!! I have to get the Neon some more VW gear. LOL He feels good with VW stickers and stuff. And I'm taking more cash this year in case Marty bleeds me dry again for all his toys. I am not an ATM. *wink*wink

Then on Sunday .... AutoX!! :) Volkstastic.
