Extra Long Weekend

As if not having to work at Bath and Body Works wasn't wonderful enough, this morning I didn't have to drive to Austin. Dozens (I've heard "a dozen" and "dozens and dozens") of dead birds were found along Congress Avenue and since that's right where I work, we were told to stay home. They are medically testing the birds before they let humans back in the area.


I'm doing laundry, catching up on some TV. I downloaded Season 3 of Nip Tuck this weekend so I think I watch a couple of those. THIS is how you should start a Monday. I should just stay home all day -- seems silly to go in for 4 or 5 hours, if they get this bird thing cleared up.

Alex is watching TV and Brutus is sleeping on Alex's bed.
